When creating an opportunity, you can ensure that only specific volunteers see it by using volunteer tags. This allows you to match opportunities with the right group of volunteers based on their skills or interests.

Before creating an opportunity, ensure that your volunteers have relevant tags assigned to them. Tags help categorize volunteers based on their skills, interests, or experience level.

From the Home page, when adding a new opportunity, select the relevant volunteer tag (e.g., “Developer”). This ensures that only volunteers with this tag can view the opportunity.

Enable the Tag-Based Visibility Setting

From the organization info page, under the Preferences tab, tick the checkbox “Show opportunities based on volunteer tags” in your Organization Page settings. Once enabled, this setting will ensure that only volunteers with the selected tag(s) can view the opportunity.

⚠ Both of the above mentioned steps must be completed to ensure that only volunteers with the assigned tag can access the opportunity.

Example:
If you create a “Website Development related work” and tag it as “Developer”, then:
Volunteers with the “Developer” tag can see and apply.
Volunteers with other tags (e.g., “Event Coordinator”) will not see it.
