Step 1: Click on the Home tab
Step 2: From calendar, look for the position for which you want to assign volunteers.
(While creating that position only, you would have defined whether this position is for –
Individuals or Groups or Individuals and Groups)
Step 3: Click on Actions button for that position.
Step 4:
Click on the ‘Assign’ option from the list.
Step 5: Based on whether the event is open to: Individual or Groups or Individual and Groups. You can assign in the below ways-
If the Position is open only to Individuals, click on Add new volunteer tab, enter the details of the volunteer and click on Assign.
If the Position is open only to Groups, click on ‘Add New’ tab, enter the details of the Group and click on Assign.
If the Position is open to both Individual and Groups, click on ‘Add New’ tab, tick the checkbox whether you want to add individual volunteer or Group. Then, add the details accordingly.
If you want to add individual volunteers, select ‘individual’ checkbox and add the details of the volunteer.
If you want to add a Group, select ‘Group’ checkbox and add the details of the Group.
